How it works
-
Clock in from your phone
Pick the job and tap once. Jot notes as you go, so you remember what you did when it’s time to bill.
-
Hours pile up on the job
Every hour waits on its job until you bill it, at the right rate for that job and rounded the way you choose.
-
Send the bill
Pick the open hours and the invoice builds itself. It goes to your customer as a PDF, and you mark payments as they come in.
Straight with you, straight with your customers
-
Nothing billed twice
Once hours are on an invoice, they’re locked to it. Void the invoice and they come back, ready to bill again.
-
Know who still owes you
Every invoice shows what’s paid and what’s left. Partial payments just work.
-
Rates that stay put
Set a rate for each job or each person. Change it later and past hours keep the rate they were worked at.
-
Made for small crews
Everyone clocks in on their own phone, and you see all the hours in one place.
-
Money in, money out
Log payments and expenses in one simple ledger, with monthly totals and charts by week, month or year.
-
Works on job-site signal
Light, fast pages that load on one bar of service. Built for the truck, not the office.

We’re opening Straight Hours to a small group first. Leave your email and we’ll reach out when there’s a spot.
The other questions are optional, but they help us build the right thing and set a fair price.
We’ll only use your email to contact you about Straight Hours. We don’t sell or share it.
Questions
When can I start using it?
We’re letting people in a few at a time. Join the list and we’ll email you when it’s your turn.
How much will it cost?
We haven’t set a price yet. People on the list hear first, and the answers on the form help us decide.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
Straight Hours runs in your phone’s browser and can be added to your home screen like an app. App Store and Google Play versions are planned.
Who’s behind it?
Straight Hours grew out of the system a small building shop made to track its own hours and bill its own customers. It’s built by people who do the work, for people who do the work.
